Cliff Bleszinski has given a demo of Gears of War 3 at Microsoft’s E3 presser.
First impressions? 4-player co-op! Trees! Lady COGS! COLE TRAIN!! Also, blood, fire and explosions.
It was, in truth, pretty bloody fantastic. With tentacle-ridden new enemies, Lambent Beserkers and all of the bombast we’ve come to expect from the series, we’re already pant-wettingly excited. We want it now!
Bleszinski also revealed that GoW 3 will feature a new mode, called “Beast.” He didn’t give any more details, but our bet is on Lost Planet-style big-boss destroying multiplayer takedowns… we could be completely wrong of course.
