Red Dead trumps Super Mario Galaxy 2’s debut

Despite a 34% drop in sales, Red Dead Redemption has once again found its way to the top of the weekly UK sales charts, according to number cruncher GFK Chart-Track, this week even holding off Nintendo’s newcomer Super Mario Galaxy 2 — the difference between the two was just over a thousand copies — which has landed at number two.

That’s the fourth consecutive week at the top spot for the Rockstar westerner then.

Other movers and shakers include Hudson’s DS game Rooms: The Main Building which jumped from 12 to 4, Green Day: Rock Band which debuted 14 and, of all games, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves which has re-entered the charts at 16.
