Among all the buzz around Microsoft Kinect (previously Project Natal), an Italian gaming website claims to have obtained images of an unannounced slimline version of the Xbox 360.
Reportedly spotted on advert units on a number of Italian websites, the rumored model appears to look more angular than the currently curvy chassis of the current generation Xbox 360s.
Limited hardware details were also revealed in the images, indicating that built-in Wi-Fi and a 250 GB hard drive might come as standard. The image also notes that the console is ‘compatible with Kinect,’ which adds considerable weight to its validity (especially considering the ‘Kinect’ branding was only revealed last night).
After much speculation around revised Xbox 360 hardware in recent months, it would come as no surprise if Microsoft were to reveal a new Xbox design at their press conference today. You can watch the conference streamed live at 10 a.m. PT (6 p.m. GMT) on the official Xbox website.
