Last.fm Xbox 360 exclusivity ends this November

Music streaming service Last.fm, launched on Xbox 360 last November, is only exclusive to the console for one year, the service’s VP Orlena Yeung has revealed, raising the question of whether its next stop could be on the PlayStation 3.

As the service launched on Microsoft’s system in November 2009, almost a million users signed up through the console in under two weeks, and two million in the first two months. Success Last.fm would like to experience again, no doubt.

It wouldn’t be the first time the PS3 picked up a service that was exclusive to the Xbox 360 for a time either; after a year-long exclusivity with Microsoft, Netflix launched on PS3 late last year.
