Electronic Arts is primed and ready to unleash its first online-only racing game, Need for Speed World, but before it’s released in full, EA wants everyone to play it a little early.
The free-to-play racing game releases in full July 20, but for those interested in getting behind the wheel right now, EA Black Box, the game’s developer, opened it up for everyone. All you have to do is hop, skip, or jump over to World.NeedForSpeed.com and sign up.
The game’s open beta has kicked off and runs until July 5. So if you’re not busy with this other intriguing event, why not give it a try?
When it does release it’ll be free to play until level 10, at which point those wishing to continue further will need to drop $20 for a Need For Speed Starter Pack, which lets players experience the game in full.
