BlackLight on XBLA tomorrow, PC/PS3 later

BlackLight Tango Down, Ignition Entertainment’s download-only title, will arrive on Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow, June 7th, the company’s announced.

The $15/1200 MS Point ‘triple-A multiplayer shooter’ comes with twelve multiplayer maps, seven game types, four co-op missions and “literally trillions of weapon combinations”. Take that, Borderlands.

The PlayStation Network and GFWL versions will be released “in the coming weeks.”

Tango Down is the cornerstone for the franchise then; there’s already “a major” film, along with a comic and novel, in the works. The franchise is “poised to be one of the next major entertainment properties,” Ignition’s confident.
