As written earlier, Dragon Age II is now very much official. The previously thought February date that the first game’s Awakening expansion implied does not apply to it however. A press release sent over by EA has given the sequel a ‘March 2011′ release window.
Like its predecessor, it’ll be a PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game.
The release also revealed the name of the character players will be embodying; Hawke.
Apparently a badass on many levels, players will be shaping Hawke — “a survivor of the Blight and the Champion of Kirkwall” — from a penniless refugee to the single most important character in the Dragon Age universe. Crafty.
