What a load of crock. We're in a down economy, loads of people don't have jobs and many just bought a normal HDTV! We're not about to run out and buy another one!!

I love how they say the third dimension "is a technology that is coming." I thought this technology has been here...I mean maybe I just imagined those 3d glasses I owned like 4 years ago...hmm and the idea of owning a 3D tv in 4 years...even if I had the money right now I wouldn't buy one, I'm just not that excited about 3d gaming, I mean yeah it has the ability to be amazing, but it's not going to be for about another 5 years, of course I could be wrong, I hope I am! Jarrod I agree with you, this would have been a hard article to write.

Correction, make that four years. Even still, that's completely unrealistic.

I decided against writing this article because I felt my snarkiness wouldn't allow me to write it with a straight face.

Are these guys for real? According to a Nielson poll taken in April, only 53% of American homes currently have HDTV's. They've been around since, what, 2002? So it's taken HDTV's eight years to be in half the nations homes, and they actually think 3DTV's will be in every home in around 2 years?

Puh-leeze. Don't insult my intelligence.
