Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, otherwise a multiplatform game, will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 for one month; In order to participate in Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade promotion an exclusivity window of “exactly four weeks” is required, brand director Karl Stewart has revealed.
The game launches on XBLA on August 18, meaning the PC and PlayStation 3 versions should release around mid/late September. Possibly.
While getting the other versions out the door as soon as the exclusivity ends would be the “ideal date,” “it’ll be up to the first parties and the likes of Steam to agree that’s the best date for us to come out on,” Stewart says.
The studio’s hoping to announce the precise dates in “seven to 10 days”.
