EA’s Black Box studio announced today that their downloadable title, Need for Speed World, will be available worldwide in a weeks’ time, on July 27th.
Plans of early access were also re-confirmed. Those who pre-order get the starter pack gain access to the MMO racer a week early, starting today. In the starter pack, players will find $20 (or £15) worth of SpeedBoost, the gil of Need for Speed World, a mess of power-ups such as Nitrous, full access to the game up to level 50, and the availability of more power-ups, double XP periods, and rental cars for a few cents each.
The starter pack is currently at a going price of $20 (£15 for the UK). No prices have been announced yet for the full game itself.
