Codemasters has revealed that while still chipping away on the upcoming F1 2010, the developer is also heavily focused on the next version of their proprietary tech, the EGO game engine.
F1 2010, powered by the current EGO, is already said to feature an incredible weather system — “the most advanced ever seen” even, they tell us — so we dare not imagine the marketing lines.
VP Gavin Cheshire can though; according to the executive, EGO 2.0 will “really keep us cutting-edge.” It will also debut with “a massive title that we can’t talk about just yet,” he adds.
We like new titles, let alone massive ones. As far as to guess which one it could be, we’ll leave that for other people. Disappointments don’t suit us.
