Jason West and Vince Zampella, co-founders of Call of Duty creator Infinity Ward, are speaking on a panel at the upcoming QuakeCon in sunny Dallas, Texas in a couple of weeks.
West and Zampella recently formed Respawn Entertainment, and signed a publishing deal with Activision bitter rival Electronic Arts. The duo’s first major public appearance will be at QuakeCon 2010 speaking on a “Building Blockbusters” panel.
The duo will sit alongside id Software’s Tom Willits and Todd Howard of Bethesda and speak about what it’s like to make games that sell like crazy, with Zampella and West most definitely talking about the Call of Duty franchise they spawned.
QuakeCon 2010 runs from August 12-15 at the Hilton Anatole hotel in Dallas Texas. The event is free and open to the public, and if you’d like to sit in on the panel, it’s at 11 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom…how fitting.
I’ll be at the show, and will most definitely sit in on this panel. Anyone else?
