For whatever reason, Activision today unleashed a single-player demo for Modern Warfare 2 onto Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.
The sampler takes place in the game’s “Cliffhanger” level, which kicks off with a harrowing icy climb, builds with a firefight amidst wind-swept snow, and climaxes with an exciting snowmobile segment.
The demo is available everywhere except PSN in Germany.
I loved that level in Modern Warfare 2. It was probably my favorite. It seems Activision is thinking Kinect and PlayStation Move will bring in a heck of a lot of new gamers, and is hoping a few with pick up the already prolific shooter.
