2K Games today unveiled Minerva’s Den, the final installment of single-player DLC for BioShock 2. Players will take on a new, unnamed character and team up with Brigid Tenenbaum to undo a dictator’s stranglehold on Rapture Central Computing, a never-before-seen district in the city under the sea.
Expect new weapons, more danger, a new breed of Big Daddy and a lightning-bolt-throwing Security Bot. According to Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K, this all adds up to “a fitting conclusion to the BioShock 2 saga.” And who doesn’t yearn for closure? Look for it “later this fall” on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
While BioShock 2’s Protector Trials DLC was released this week on Xbox 360 and PS3, Big Download reports that the PC patch still needs some “final touches.”
