A little over a week ago, famed Hollywood director Guillermo del Toro said he would be announcing a “big deal with a big company” in the coming weeks, as well as a few games.
We haven’t gotten that list of games yet, but according to LA Times and their “people familiar with the matter,” that company is THQ. It would seem the publisher’s executive vice president of core games Danny Bilson is the one leading the negotiations and trying to finalize the deal between THQ and del Toro.
As aforementioned, no games were mentioned back when del Toro revealed this situation, and none have been mentioned by the LA Times either, but more info on said games should probably surface once the deal is closed and definitive, so keep a sharp eye. Especially with THQ teasing “huge announcements” itself.
