First Lara Croft DLC free for Xbox 360 users

The first of five Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light DLC packs that Crystal Dynamics announced a little over a week ago will be, for the first 30 days and on the Xbox 360 only, available free of charge.

So says general manager Darrell Gallagher in a recent press release which reminds of the game’s Xbox Live Arcade debut tomorrow; the content will be free “so that gamers can get a taste of some of the exciting extras we have in store,” he says.

As previously mentioned, the stream of DLC will kick off in October for all PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with the first three being expansion packs that offer new puzzle, exploration and combat gameplay, while the final two add “well-known videogame characters” to the mix. No prices yet.
