The development of the “pretty exciting” Far Cry 3, as Ubisoft scriptwriter Kevin Shortt — who’s laid eyes on the project — put it late last year, is rolling along well, the rumor has it.
The Spy column of the latest PC Gamer believes the shooter’s development is “in full swing now” at Ubisoft Montreal, the studio that also developed the numerical sequel after the property was bought from original developer Crytek.
The magazine believes the game is headed by former Relic Entertainment lead designer Josh Mosqueira. That’s the extent of it though. No clues on gameplay, the setting, or anything else.
