The demo for the latest entry to Sid Meier’s Civilization series, next month’s Civilization V, was earlier in the month announced to be a pre-release one. And that still remains the case… unless you’re in North America, that is.
The game’s official site has delivered news that a playable sampling will be released on September 21st, the same day the PC-only strategy title goes on sale in North America. If it’s any consolation, developer Firaxis is “very sorry.”
Those in Europe can still consider it a pre-release demo though; the game releases there on the 24th.
