New Xbox 360 controller revealed, out in November

Microsoft has officially revealed the rumored new and improved Xbox 360 controller design today.

Pictured above and in the video below, the Special Edition release comes complete with an updated ‘transforming’ d-pad; upon twisting it slightly, the d-pad can be changed from a plus to a disc. It’s “choose your style,” they say.

A few other changes have been done as well, including slightly different analog sticks and grayed out A, B, X, Y buttons to go better with the controller’s new silver shading.

It goes on sale starting November 9, and for $64.99, but only in the US and with the Play & Charge Kit. The European launch is expected around February.
