Fresh Black Ops multiplayer details revealed

Treyarch had a bit of an eventful evening; the developer announced a number of online play details about its latest entry to the Call of Duty series, this November’s Black Ops, and there were a few mighty interesting things revealed indeed.

First, the game will come with a “Combat Training” mode which allows players to play against AI foes, either alone or in 2-player co-op, which is quite nice for those itching to get in some target practice. In addition — and this is the main event — Black Ops introduces Wager Matches.

Wager Matches consist of four game modes — One in the Chamber, Sticks and Stones, Gun Game, Sharp Shooter — each explained in the appropriately titled ‘Wager Match’ trailer above; certainly worth laying eyes on.
