Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath takes a trip to PSN with Move support and new content

At long last, after 5 years of waiting, Oddworld Inhabitants have a new game coming out… sort of. Okay so it’s a remastered version of their last game, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, and Just Add Water (the guys behind PSN shooter Gravity Crash) are developing but this is still awesome news! You may recall JAW games teamed up with Oddworld earlier in the year, although not revealing what they were working on exactly. This is just one of many games that the deal is set to bring us.

Available as a download-only title for PSN, Stranger’s Wrath is an FPS that’s set to feature Move support, additional content, and a shiny HD makeover. Stewart Gilray, head of JAW was happy to finally reveal the game: “Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is the first project in what we believe will be a long and fruitful relationship. Having the chance to update this great title and release it on PS3 is just a brilliant opportunity, not least for us, but for the fans too.”

The game’s set for release next Easter (since when has Easter been a time frame for game releases?). No word on a possible 360 release just yet.
