Black Ops to get some more star power

It looks like Call of Duty: Black Ops will be getting some more raw talent with Hollywood stars Gary Oldman (The Fifth Element, The Professional, The Dark Knight) and Ed Harris (The Right Stuff, Apollo 13, The Abyss) joining as voice actors.

Oldman will be coming back to refill his role as Viktor Reznov from World at War and that Ed Harris will be playing a CIA operative named Jason Hudson, one of the lead protagonists.

Joining the two stars will be script writer David S. Goyer (Blade, Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight) who’s given the helm on script consultation and aid in story development.

“Oldman, Harris and Goyer are considered some of Hollywood’s finest talents and they perfectly complement Call of Duty: Black Ops‘ ambitious and immersive single player experience,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head of developer Treyarch. “Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise.”

Look for the now star-studded game to appear on November 9th, 2010.
