Activision announced Blood Drive, a game that could be described as a mash-up between Twisted Metal, Split/Second, MotorStorm Apocalypse and [insert zombie-infested game here].
Blood Drive will have players drive war-ready equipped cars as if they were made to set nations on fire if let loose. Zombies – or as the publisher itself puts it, “undead frat boys, cops, strippers and bachelorette partiers” – will roam the streets, each with their very own way of death and devastation… and ways to die! And if you still trying to figure out how Split/Second fits into all of this, the mayhem will be a televised game show.
The game will feature dreadful events set up as tournaments in six unforgiving environments, with multiplayer in which up to four friends can battle it out or just ragequit the bloodbath at any given time.
“Over-the-top vehicular combat and zombies are two things that go great together,“ said David Pokress, Activision Publishing. “What more is there to say?”
Blood Drive will be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this fall, on November, at $49.99.
