Microsoft has some pretty rosy predictions for Halo: Reach, claiming their latest entry in the series will outsell Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Quoth Stephen McGill (head honcho of Xbox UK) at a Reach launch event last night: “More than 34 million people have bought [a Halo game] and those people are going to want to play Halo: Reach. We’re going to do incredibly well.”
When asked about sales figures and particularly their position against Black Ops, he replied: “It’s going to be a really good fight and yes I do [believe it]. We have huge expectations.”
The game (for which review embargoes lift this Sunday) hits worldwide next Tuesday the 14th.
