Activision’s upcoming GoldenEye 007 may or may not grace systems other than the Wii. It’s only been confirmed for the Nintendo system which, according to executive producer Julian Widdows, is what it’s all about right now. Still, hope for an Xbox 360 and/or PlayStation 3 version of the shooter remains, no matter how slim the chances.
Chatting with Videogamer recently, Widdows noted that Wii is the system the game was developed for, but “never say never!”
“Who knows? Things happen, don’t they, with big publishers?” Widdows pondered. “But for the time being it’s all about the Wii, and that’s really how we hope people will go and experience it, because that’s how it’s been built. It’s not been built for the PS3 and Xbox 360, it’s been built for this.” Wii-only for now it is then.
The game’s out all over this November.
