While the inclusion of 3D is yet uncertain, Tomonobu Itagaki’s Devil’s Third is a game built on future-proof tech.
Speaking in an interview at last week’s Tokyo Game Show, the now-Valhalla man said the game is being developed in a way “so that it can be brought to as yet unknown hardware as well. Specifically, the various areas of technology are scalable.”
When wondered whether the hardware pointed at was Nintendo’s upcoming 3DS or Sony’s all-but-official PSP 2, Itagaki said: “More than that, although I can’t say this easily because I don’t have any information, it’s possible that Nintendo could release a higher end console. Something like that.”
The actioner’s out some time in 2012.
