Fallout: New Vegas companions or how I learned to stop worrying and love my cyborg dog

Fallout: New Vegas is really raising the bar for companions, essentially taking  Fallout 3‘s awesome furry friend Meat and turning him into an even more awesome cyborg, complete with the see-through brain jar that science-fiction has taught us will one day come standard on all aliens, monsters and maniacal scientists.

Developer Bethesda revealed the lineup of companions on PlayStation’s official blog, confirming that like their previous trek through the wasteland, players will have control over one one humanoid (human, super mutant, ghoul) and one non-humanoid (floating eyebot, cyborg dog) companion at any given time. The improvements come not only in the expanded selection of companions, but in greater control via radial menu wheel and passive enhancement via special character-specific perks. But all you really need to know is CYBORG DOG.
