Yesterday’s report on Halo: Reach being last week’s third most popular Xbox Live title was erroneous. It was in fact second.
The activity list posted yesterday contained “a manual error in the reporting data,” Xbox Live’s director of programming Larry Hryb has updated. The Bungie shooter didn’t fall in line after its other shooter, Halo 3. It had actually attracted “nearly four times” as many users for the week; not enough to beat Modern Warfare 2, but that should change once this week’s activity is summed up: in the last 7 days, Reach was already the number one XBL game, Hryb notes.
