Valve has gone and announced that its latest Left 4 Dead add-on, The Sacrifice, will be available for both Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 players a week from now, on October 5th. The contents will be slightly different depending on which game you play though.
Those with the first Left 4 Dead will get The Sacrifice campaign, and can play it in Campaign, Versus, and Survival modes. Left 4 Dead 2 players on the other hand will also receive the first game’s No Mercy campaign. Both it and The Sacrifice will be playable in Campaign, Versus, Survival, and Scavenge, and feature the sequel’s special infected, items, and weaponry; something that gets Valve mighty excited: “Yes, Zoey with a chainsaw!”
The DLC will be free on PC while the Xbox 360 version comes with a 560 Microsoft Point price tag.
