F.E.A.R. 3 is delayed until 2011, but look on the bright side. The third installment of the slow-mo horror FPS will not mark the end of the series.
In an interview with NowGamer, Frank Rook, director of design for Day 1 studios assured that “the F.E.A.R. universe still has a huge amount of potential to grow.” He fell short of elaborating on whether this “potential” includes DLC or a F.E.A.4., and clarified that they’ve “only extended beyond F.E.A.R. 3 just a little bit.” He stated that the goal was to finish F.E.A.R. 3 and give it a “satisfying conclusion.” Translation: someone needs to get shot in the head.
