Social gaming strikes once again in the form of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Project Legacy for Facebook. Before you start thinking how Facebook will tell you who chose to dive into a cart of hay, know that the premise of Project Legacy is strikingly different from most Facebook games: the game will play in conjunction with Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.
According to Ubisoft, players will be able to use the web services of Project Legacy to unlock features in Brotherhood and vice versa, making Project Legacy the first social role-playing game designed to be played in conjunction with a console title.
Further details were spilled as Ubisoft revealed that players will able to play up to 25 missions in Project Legacy, which will gather currency and experience points (presumably for use in Brotherhood).
Ubisoft hasn’t announced an official release date other than that it will be “available on Facebook soon”, so keep a lookout.
