Just Cause is making steps towards the silver screen; the film rights for the Avalanche Studios open-world franchise have been optioned by L+E Pictures, which is run by Eric Eisner.
The script will be penned by Michael Ross, Variety writes, with Adrian Askarieh — as reported over a year ago — attached as producer.
Askarieh is producing film versions of other Eidos properties — Kane & Lynch and Hitman 2 — as well. He was also involved in 2007′s Hitman.
