Ninja Theory is a two-game studio, chief ninja Tameem Antoniades has said, putting a stop to speculation that a possible follow-up to this week’s Enslaved: Odyssey to the West would have to wait until work on the recently announced DmC: Devil May Cry is wrapped up.
“We’ve been growing into two teams for the last year,” the studio head told Eurogamer. “We’ve got capacity to do two games.”
Enslaved was not designed as the first in a series of upcoming games, he also reiterated, saying the studio has “not planned for a sequel.” However, “if [the first game] gains some traction, I’d like to see something happen.”
The moment of truth isn’t far off; Enslaved releases tomorrow in North America, and Friday in Europe.
