In an update that involved a whole lot of talking about a post-apocalyptic cake, Bethesda announced that the development of the next iteration in the Fallout series, Fallout New Vegas, is done. The game is on its way to production and will hit shelves later this month, more specifically, October 19th in North America and 22nd in Europe for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Included in this update were the PC specs required to run the game, which read:
“Enhanced for multi-core”
OS: Windows 7, Vista, XP
Processor: Dual Core 2.0 GHz
Memory: 2GB RAM, 10GB free hard drive space
Video card: nVidia GeForce 6 series, ATI 1300XT series minimum.
As per default nowadays, a Collector’s Edition will be stored next to the standard copy of the game, both of which have surpassed Fallout 3 as far as pre-orders go. Probably due to the celebrities, and maybe the look of the game, and sounds and stuff. Also, we’re pretty sure the TV ad helped too.
