Now that Bungie’s involvement in the Halo series is kaput, everyone’s wondering what the creators could be up to next. Creative director Joe Staten shed a small flicker on the matter at GDC Online in Austin, Texas today, saying that the next project could have “a world that was always there for you.”
Sounds a bit uplifting for the guys who made Halo, right? Keep in mind that recent rumors have it that the next project will be a shooter-based MMO, so perhaps “uplifting” may not be the right word.
