EA’s Medal of Honor reboot took top honors on the UK’s all-formats sales chart last week, data collector GFK Chart-Track’s revealed today, with over half the sales coming from the Xbox 360 version (Xbox 360 52%, PS3 43%, PC 5%).
The modern day shooter’s release marks the largest ever launch week for the long-running franchise, and the fourth biggest Xbox 360 and fifth biggest PlayStation 3 game launch of 2010. The game’s been said to perform well in North America as well, with Day 1 sales having reportedly exceeded forecasts.
Newcomers Just Dance 2 and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 debuted at #2 and #9, respectively, with Borderlands‘ Duke Nukem Forever early access offering Game of the Year Edition at #35.
