Section 8 sequel’s multiplayer beta drops this fall

Section 8: Prejudice, the recently announced follow-up to last year’s Section 8, is in for a multiplayer testing.

Developer/publisher TimeGate Studios has announced that the PC version of its upcoming sci-fi shooter will be put through its paces some time this fall, with those interested in signing up now able to do so at

“Feedback from the original Section 8 played a key role in how we shaped Prejudice,” TimeGate CEO Adel Chaveleh says, “and our multiplayer beta provides the perfect opportunity to further our commitment to the IP and our community.”

No details on what exactly to expect were revealed, just that participant will be getting “their first taste of the new features and content introduced in Prejudice, as well as the enhanced Games for Windows-LIVE integration that includes streamlined matchmaking and improved server browsing.”

The PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game is being readied for launch in ‘early 2011’.
