Index Holdings, in conjunction with Atlus which they recently merged with, is reporting a profit of £3.42m ($5.36m USD) for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2010. And the profitability of FromSoftware’s RPG Demon’s Souls seems to be the sole cause of that pile of money making its way back to the publisher.
The company reported a loss of £815,419 ($1.27m USD) for its North American division during the financial year ending August 31, 2009, which vaguely compares to the increase from £21.4m ($33.57m USD) to £25.86m ($40.57m USD). We’re glad someone’s making a profit these days.
But enough about numbers… Demon’s Souls is out, and we’ve reviewed it; either go read it, or go play it!
