Capcom producer Ryota Niitsuma recently posted via his Twitter page a list of Capcom characters and franchises that will not be included in the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
Although brief, the list spans a large variety of characters:
- No additional Darkstalkers characters
- No Monster Hunter
- No Sengoku BASARA
- No Breath of Fire
- No Gill (boss character from Street Fighter III series)
Niitsuma also mentioned on the side that “Mega Man fans will have to wait a little longer”, so interpret that as you will. Although a healthy slice of franchises have just been swiftly cleaned out, hope is not all lost, so keep those fingers crossed.
