Where’s the beef?
Team Meat has another game in the works, but it’s not a sequel to their hit Super Meat Boy. Edmund McMillen, co-CEO of Team Meat, told Eurogamer that “[t]here will be another game but it won’t be [Super] Meat Boy [...] it’ll be totally new.” So, that’s that.
What can he tell us about the new game? “We’d be lying if we said we hadn’t talked about the next game – because we very much have. But thinking about it right now makes me want to stab myself in the stomach as hard as I can. With a gun.”
When pressed for further comments, McMillen grumbled loudly and began gnawing on his knuckles*.
