Splatterhouse has gone gold, ready to get gory

Namco Bandai’s announced that their upcoming gore-fest of a remake Splatterhouse has gone gold, which means the game is finished and it’s time to give the devs a break. Given it’s scheduled for release late November, we’d say this is good news.

Splatterhouse tells the story of Rick and his Terror Mask, which aids him in his search for his long lost girlfriend – whom we can’t even begin to imagine what she must be like for loving such a heart-breaking (literally) fellow – captured by Dr. West. He’ll probably get there eventually, but will not do so without tearing the world apart from evil-doers in the most brutal ways imaginable. You will see red.

Splatterhouse is set for a November 23rd release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. We have an opinion on the game.
