Bethesda reveals first New Vegas DLC details

It’s been almost a month since Fallout: New Vegas has been out in stores and already Bethesda have announced the first downloadable content. Now it’s time for a few deets: the first add-on is named Dead Money, the publisher’s revealed, and it promises to add new terrain, foes and choices to the game.

In Dead Money you’ll play as the victim of a raw deal who’ll have to work with three other captured to find the legendary treasure of the Sierra Madre Casino. There’s a fine macguffin if ever I’ve seen one.

And that’s it, actually, though with the five add ons for Fallout 3, there’s little chance of total disappointment. Unfortunately, it’s only been announced for the Xbox 360 so far, but PC/PlayStation 3 versions might well be announced later.

Dead Money is set for release on December 21, 2010 for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox live.
