XNA is a service that lets the everyday man get their games up for sale on the Xbox Live service. For the most part the games aren’t exactly AAA standards, but there are some interesting experiences out there. We imagine that with Kinect kits in their hands, developers could bring us some even more inventive titles. Sadly though we haven’t heard anything about the service becoming availble to them until now.
Xbox director of incubation Alex Kipman has revealed that Kinect on XNA is something that Microsoft “will support in the future.”
Pretty broad answer, sure, but it’s better than no support at all. Hopefully support comes sooner rather than later.
