DanceDanceRevolution boogeying back to Xbox

Konami’s announced that the latest DanceDanceRevolution game will be coming back to the Xbox 360, with two new game modes: Dance off and Club Mode.

In Dance Off, four players take turns serving one another, and the dancer who does the best representation of the on-screen arrows wins. In Club Mode, a player can dance from 4 to 20 songs in a row, and things get harder/easier depending on how they play.

Interestingly, DanceDanceRevolution will not include Kinect support, probably to not divert attention away from DanceMasters, Konami’s Kinect-enabled dancing game. You can, however, use your Xbox Live Vision camera to import your likeness into the game if you feel so inclined.

The game will be released in early 2011.
