It’s the second Thursday of the month, thusly, it’s time for the monthly NPD figures to trickle out.
First out of the gate today was Microsoft, loudly exclaiming via the mouth of Aaron Greenberg that the Xbox 360 sold a whopping 1.4 million units in November, good for the top spot for the sixth month straight.
Further, Greenberg said the Xbox 360 accounted for a staggering 50 percent of November’s system sales across the board.
The 1.4 million is a large take, and one that was likely buffed by Call of Duty: Black Ops and Kinect going on sale during the month. You can’t play the biggest game of 2010 if you don’t have a system after all.
