While rumors have a tendency – and power – to make people speculate, we wouldn’t mind if this latest one was to be true eventually.
The recently announced Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will feature cooperative play, meaning not only 1–12 multiplayer matches, but 1–3 online co-op and what’s more interesting, “1–2 players” as retailer GameStop details it. Again, until official word from Naughty Dog comes forth, this is nothing but a rumor, but a might juicy one at that as it would evolve the series in a more than agreeable way, if you ask us.
Uncharted 3 will take Drake and his partner in crime Sully through the deserts of Arabia in search for whatever will make ’em rich, which in this case would be a legendary lost city also known as the “Atlantis of the Sands.” While the first gameplay footage shows no sand, it does display one of the most fiery scenes ever in the series.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is out November 1st, 2011, exclusively on PlayStation 3.
