There’s no question that Uncharted has become Sony’s flagship franchise ever since the release of Among Thieves. So what better way to gather hype for the often-rumored PSP2 than by giving it an Uncharted spin-off of its own?
It could well be happening; recent leaks point towards Sony Bend developing, and now GameInformer is reporting that they too have heard news of a sequel. The magazine states: “The developers we talked to described the PSP2 as a very powerful machine. We’ve even heard that a new Uncharted spin-off – which could even stand in for a full-on Uncharted 3 – is in the works.”
With Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception in the hearts and minds of every Sony fan already (which obviously happened after the mag was printed), what could an Uncharted PSP game do to get us excited?
