It’s safe to say that Ubisoft has some new Assassin’s Creed projects in the works. First there was the affirmation from Ubi CEO Yves Guillemot of “something around Assassin’s” in 2011, then there was the survey polling players on potential features, and now comes yet another clue.
Ubisoft Massive, the studio responsible for PC strategy game World In Conflict, is “teaming up on a project for Assassin’s Creed” and looking for new hires, according to a tweet from the studio.
Eurogamer theorizes that said project could be a strategy-focused title for AC given the Ubisoft Massive pedigree, but it’s a little too early to say anything for sure.
Ubisoft Massive also indicates the project will involve Ubisoft Annecy, the studio involved in AC Brotherhood’s multiplayer.
