Tomb Raider dev sets eyes on multiplayer

Job postings on Gamasutra’s listing forum may hint at the inclusion of multiplayer in the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot (the listings have been removed, but you can find snippets of the post at NeoGAF and MTV Multiplayer).

The postings are for a “Senior Game Designer Multiplayer” and “Producer Multiplayer” for a “AAA title” from Crystal Dynamics, developers of the upcoming reboot.

The studio is looking for a designer will be “responsible for all aspects of multi-player game design including co-op, player vs. player, and creation of maps and environments”, which hints that not only will the game feature co-op multiplayer like the downloadable spin-off Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, but may also feature competitive multiplayer as well.

This is not the first time Crystal Dynamics has been looking for a multiplayer bee, either.
