APB, the Realtime Worlds-created urban MMO rescued by the free-to-play champs at GamersFirst, is heading into beta prior to its Reloaded-branded re-release. The game’s Twitter feed delivers the news by alerting that information on how to apply will be released during the week.
The beta itself, as further elaborated on the game’s official blog, is expected to kick off next month. Possibly; “Right now it looks like sometime in late February if everything goes exactly according to plan (and we know how often that happens :) ),” GamersFirst’s CTO and COO Bjorn Book-Larsson scribbles.
The reworked, complete, out-of-beta product is scheduled for launch later in the year. No predictions on a date just yet.
